Amy VanMeter Events LLC is an award-winning event planning company serving the northern Shenandoah Valley, Leesburg, Middleburg, Purcellville and Warrenton areas. I can assist you with corporate events, parties and weddings.

So, what makes me different?

My business is my passion, born from a love of planning. Always the methodical “list maker,” I felt drawn to use my talents to help bridal couples, party hosts and organizations celebrate life’s special moments. This is my full-time job, not a part-time hobby — and I love it!

My commitment is to provide you unparalleled personal service. Your event will not be one of many that I’m working on. I restrict the number of events that I book, so that I can provide the high level of service that you deserve. It is a privilege to share in a client’s celebration. And, it gives me great pleasure to know that I contributed to the joy and success of the day.

My goal is an unforgettable and stress-free event every time. How do I do that — with expertise (16 years of it), resources, natural organizational abilities, a professional demeanor and attention to detail. These attributes mean peace of mind and wonderful memories for you.

Professionalism is the foundation of my business…

That means a dedication to high ethical standards & continuing education. As every professional should be, I’m licensed and insured. I never accept or give referral fees or incentives. My clients are given vendor referrals based on their unique style and budget needs. I’m committed to knowing what products & services are available for my clients. So, I regularly attend industry educational and networking meetings. I earned the Professional Bridal Consultant designation from the Association of Bridal Consultants, an international professional organization, in 2000. I am an active member of professional organizations, including the Shenandoah Wedding Professionals and the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Recently, I joined the board of Sterling Women – Winchester.

Community involvement…

Being involved in the community is important to me.  I served as a board member for First Night Winchester from 2012-2014.  I am a volunteer with the local United Way chapter.

On a personal note…

I’m a Georgia peach who relocated to beautiful Winchester, Virginia in 2009. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of West Georgia. And, in my “previous life” I worked in marketing & public relations. Aside from planning, I enjoy reading, writing & visiting Virginia’s beautiful wineries.
